The Relational Cultural Theory Collective is an international group of mental health clinicians, educators and community leaders who study, teach and advance the application of Relational Cultural Theory.

Members of the Collective have decades of experience in the practical application of RCT in a variety of settings and are available to teach and present to mental health organizations, academic institutions and community groups

Lisa Eible, MSW, DSW, LCSW
New Jersey
Lisa Eible is a consultant, writer, administrator and educator with over 35 years of social work experience. Lisa has advanced certificates in Cultural Competence and Trauma. Professional interests include social work in healthcare, administration, leadership, supervision, Relational-Cultural Theory, and diversity issues. Lisa serves as adjunct faculty at Rutgers University and works full time for state government..
Theresa L. Epstein, MA, MSW. LICSW
Seattle, Washington
Theresa is an experienced feminist therapist working with clients to make positive changes in relationships & daily life. In private practice, Theresa provides therapy to individuals and groups Theresa is a WA State DOH approved supervisor and provides individual and group supervision to those pursuing social work or Mental Health Counselor licensure. Theresa also provides education, consultation & clinical supervision.


Shannon Finn, MSW, RSW
Alberta, Canada
Shannon holds undergraduate degrees in Psychology, Gerontology, and Social Work and has a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work. Shannon has over 25 years of experience in counseling individuals, primarily older adults, in various clinical settings. Shannon has been studying and applying RCT since discovering the theory in 1999. She is a trained EMDR therapist since 2011 who enjoys public speaking and conference planning. Shannon is a founding member of the Relational Cultural Theory Collective.
Erica J. Seidel, PsyD
Brooklyn, New York
Erica is a licensed psychologist and certified school psychologist in New York City. Erica maintains a private practice in Brooklyn, NY and works full time in the Counseling Center at CUNY’s Borough of Manhattan Community College. Erica's interests include college student mental health, professional ethics, social justice, and relational therapy.
